Since the company’s inception back in 1981 its technical insight and experience has formed the foundations for its growth. This expertise still exists today supported by employees and consultants who work with the customers best interests in mind.
The company has recently adopted a combined BRC/PS9000 Quality management System having attained BRC “Food Safe Grade A” category accreditation since 2009 and in October 2018 an edition 5 BRC “Food Safe Grade AA” for the third consecutive year. This quality system controls all aspects of production from enquiry through to the final product.
We can assist on all new enquiries covering all aspects of manufacturing from artwork through to final pouch conversion.
We can assist in the development of unusual packaging, as our machinery, because of its age and speed, is much more adaptable when looking for something different.
It’s an aim of ours through questionnaires and subsequent trials to arrive at the technical best and most cost effective solution to any enquiry. This will include an assessment on moisture, oxygen and light barriers. We will also consider risks as far as potential migration and de-lamination issues to the final product are concerned, as well as the shelf life requirement of the final filled pouch amongst other things.
Our laminator provides the ability to test and produce laminates for further research and development, using solely customer material, our own or a combination of the two.
Slip factors can quite often cause issues on form fill and seal machines, and we have an oxy-spray unit to assist in increasing slip levels where difficulties are being experienced.
Our wide range of slitting machines allows us to slit or rewind reels of all widths, OD’s and thicknesses. This is especially useful when recovering telescoped reels and damaged cores.
