Products & Services - Our Philosophy The vision of M&B is based upon a simple principle: to listen to the needs of each of its customers and to attempt, if at all possible, to exceed their expectations. Continued adherence to this philosophy has ensured a large and diverse loyal client base, which also includes some of the packaging industry’s largest organisations.   Our Products & Services Moore & Buckle specialise in supplying reels and pouches, in both plain and printed form, to a variety of industry sectors including the food and pharmaceutical markets. Its core activities are pouch making, lamination, correcting technical/production errors and slitting. We manufacture and convert flexible packaging materials, specialising in small quantities. These materials can be supplied in reel or pouch form, plain or printed. We stock the following stock laminates:   Paper/PE/Foil/PE Paper/PE/Foil/Surlyn Paper/PE Polyester/PE/Foil/PE (White or silver outer) Polyester/PE/Foil/Surlyn Polyester/Foil/PP - heat resistant up to 121°C. (Retortable) Polyester/Foil/Nylon/PE - very high puncture resistance. Nylon/PE including boilable Polyester/PE Wide range of MOD approved laminates Pouches/Bags   We can manufacture pouches from the above laminates. Pouches can be either printed or plain, and can have resealable tapes, grippers, tear notches, euro slots or rounded corners. Our methods of sealing include regular 3-sided, folded 2-sided, back-seam, and tube. Side gusseted foil bags in silver and gold ex stock for packaging moisture sensitive products. Slitting/Rewinding We can slit/rewind to recover damaged or redundant stock or to change lead-off of printed materials. We can also change core sizes or reel width or diameters. On particular materials we can use the method of "oxyspraying" which reduces the amount of friction on the material. Laminating/Coating We have narrow width (330mm. max) laminating & coating facilities, ideal for short run work or development work. Also we recover laminates by improving slip, recoating with appropriate lacquer and even oxy-drying to improve running characteristics. Sheeting We can guillotine rolls of material to produce sheets. Large foil bags Individually made bags using a wide range of barrier foils are also made. These are bespoke and even bags large enough to pack tanks are made.
